Christian Meditation

Saturday, January 31(9 am - 4 pm)

Christian Meditation as developed by Fr. John Main, OSB, is a form of contemplative prayer that has its roots in the writings of the Desert Fathers, John Cassian and others in the early days of the Church.

It has been part of the Christian tradition of prayer through subsequent centuries.

This day will give participants an introduction to the practice of meditation and understanding of its place in Contemporary Christian spirituality.

Facilitated by Terry Marner

Terry has been an artist and educator in England, Africa, the United States and Canada. He is facilitator of the Christian Meditation community at Holy Rosary Cathedral; and is Regional Co-ordinator for the Canadian Christian Meditation Community.
