| Emergence of the Human Person and Massage Therapy |
| Saturday,
April 24 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) The emergence of the human being, like the emergence of a blossom, entails an unfolding. We move from the dependency of the babe, the discovery of adolescence, into the fullness of given capacities as an adult. Awareness of the process makes the journey meaningful...this growth is for all...we are created for infinite expansion of mind and heart. This session will emphasize exercises in self-awareness and techniques necessary to improve ones quality of life. Massage is to the body what wheels are to the driver. Gifts for the journey! Areas to be explored include chair massage, lymphatic massage, self-helps - all designed to potentialize the abilities of the body, mind and spirit. Facilitated by Sister Theresa Feist, osu Sister Theresa has worked in the field of natural health for 22 years. She is currently at Flaman-Morris Home in Lebret, SK, a teaching centre that focuses on nutrition, self-awareness, holistic lifestyle and Christian meditation. Cost: $35 (includes lunch) |
