Gnosticism is a little-known and poorly-understood ancient Christian heresy
that had a tremendous impact on the development of the earliest church.
This session will describe the ideas behind ancient Christian Gnosticism
and the reasons for its exclusion from the mainstream early church.

Arnal
William is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at the University
of Regina. His area of specialization is New testament and Early Christianity,
on which he has published two books and numerous articles.
The 'isms' of Faith
Series is a comprises four workshops. Learn about the ísms'
of faith, and how through knowledge and understanding, spiritual growth
is made possible! This is an educational series for personal growth and
religious affirmation.
All sessions are held
Thursdays, except Fundamentalism (on a Wednesday), from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.
