Guided Imagery and Music: A Process of Reflection
Thursday, May 6 (7:30 - 9:30 pm)

This introductory session to the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) will include a description of this model, a group discussion and debriefing that will include writing or mandela drawing and discussion.

GIM is the use of classical music carefully chosen to encourage imagery. Contrary to other forms of ‘guided imagery’, the participants’ imagery is the focus in this model.

Dress comfortably, bring a pillow and also a journal.

Facilitated by Bernadette Kutarna

Bernadette is an accredited music therapist and has been practising for over 27 years. She completed her master’s in applied psychology - music therapy with an internship in South Africa. Her area of interest includes cross cultural uses of music in healing, transformation and reflection.
