Religion and Propaganda

Wednesday, February 4 (7:30 - 9:30 pm)

Soviet anti-religious campaigns were initiated in the days that followed the October Revolution. They adopted several forms, from destruction of churches and icons to broad educational campaigns.

This informative and historically-based session will seek to explain how propaganda affected religious dogma of the time. Come out and learn about this very interesting religious movement of the twenties.
