Why are there Catholic and Protestant Christians? The Reformation provides
the answers to this and other questions of vital importance to the future
of unity among Christians.
This session outlines the reasons the Reformation Protestants gave for
their protest against Roman Catholicism and also provides a handy guide
to Catholics for understanding the many Protestant groups in Canadian
society.
Facilitated by Dr. Paul Laverdure
Paul is an historian, author, editor, translator and publisher of religious
history in Canada. He was the first Roman Catholic to teach the Religious
Studies course on the Reformation at the University of Reginas Luther
College.
