This workshop will present current information about how to select personnel
and how to effectively supervise them. It provides an opportunity for
participants to reflect on the vision and goals of their organization
in making personnel decisions.
This workshop is suitable for church organizations as well as for public
and private sector organizations.
Facilitators - Dr. Paulette Brooks and Dr. Rosemary
Makelki
Paulette Brooks is a professor at the University of Regina where she is
also the co-ordinator of professional development. She has written and
spoken on various topics related to leadership and personnel, she conducts
workshops, and she does private and/or group consulting.
Rosemary Makelki is currently an adjunct professor at the University of
Regina where she teaches sessional classes. She has instructed classes
at the graduate level in conflict management, ethics in leadership, and
administrative behaviour.
