Wednesday, October
22 (8:00 - 9:30 pm)
For four years, a Regina group called Friends on the Outside
has offered support to the often marginalized families of inmates, ex-inmates,
and inmates on a release program from various Saskatchewan prisons.
The Friends on the Outside is not an advocacy group but rather
an ecumenical Christian gathering that tries to find inspiration in the
Good News of the Gospels. This is especially true of Jesus message
of forgiveness!
This evenings session could benefit Clergy, Pastoral Assistants,
Social Justice committee members, Diocesan lay ministers, those concerned
with helping the marginalized, and various community groups such as Police,
Parole, Probation, etc.
Facilitated by the
Friends on the Outside group and Fr. John Matheson, sj
Cost: $10
