Wednesday, December
3 (7:30 - 9:30 pm)
We are becoming more
and more aware that the church is first of all a community of sinners
which is brought together and moulded into oneness through the Eucharist.
For the Christian, the concepts of community and Eucharist
must never be seen as separate entities. Luke marvellously brings this
out in his gospel by gradually showing his followers and us that to remain
centred in Christ as a community, Jesus followers must centre their
lives in the Eucharist, that table-fellowship par excellence. This session
will be spent examining Lukes table-fellowship passages and gleaning
from them his marvellous theology of Eucharist and community.
