The Healing Garden - A Place of Peace

Saturday, September 25 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

This session will focus on three main principals: Internal Healing and Peace - interpersonal relationships and the communication process; clearing the ‘clutter’ that affects individual relationships with self and others; forgiveness in relation to health; gratitude and making peace with others; and living in balance while managing day-to-day matters.

External Healing and Peace - the role of a garden as a place of healing; the relationship between colour and the healing aspects of chromotherapy; phytochemistry and the relationship of food colours and healing; plants as a method of maintiaing health; the process of growing herbs indoors and out. Planetary Healing and Peace - the components of living a life of simplicity; the process of contributing to the planet in a conscious way; creating a ‘garden for the soul’; examining the process of ‘thinking globally and acting locally’.
