Literature and Faith Series
Literature and Christianity

Thursday, October 14 (7:30 -9:30 p.m.)

This presentation will explain the two concepts of literature and faith central to C.S. Lewis’s (author of Mere Christianity and The Problem of Pain) works: transposition and baptism.

It will explore how literature can be sacramental or iconic through examination of texts that ‘baptize’ the reader’s imagination through words.

Facilitated by Dr. Dorothy Lane

Dorothy is a Professor of English at Luther College, University of Regina. She specializes in post colonial literatures and theory.
