This presentation will explain the two concepts of literature and faith
central to C.S. Lewis’s (author of Mere Christianity and The Problem
of Pain) works: transposition and baptism.
It will explore how literature can be sacramental or iconic through examination
of texts that ‘baptize’ the reader’s imagination through
words.

Dorothy is a Professor of English at Luther College, University of Regina.
She specializes in post colonial literatures and theory.
