Saturday, April 26
(9:30 am - 4:30 pm)
What is evangelization?
How do we separate the true from the false? Some perspectives on evangelization,
its significance in Christian faith (both past and present), and where
it will take us as a community in the future will be reviewed over the
weekend.
On Saturday, four themes will be examined:
- how to define evangelization that makes sense in our parishes
- how to work out a plan for evangelization in the parishes
- how to change the negative attitudes and overcome the obstacles associated
with evangelization
- the dream of Jesus Christ for the Church
Using group work, discussion and reflection, participants will evaluate
what the Gospel asks of us and the world.
