Atonement Theology

Wednesdays, March 2, 9 & 16 (7:00 - 9:00 p.m.)

The traditional images and metaphors used to explain redemption grew out of a world view of the first few centuries of Christendom.

Today, in the light of space travel, radio telescopes and quantum physics, our world view and our place in it has greatly changed. Therefore, the traditional images no longer speak to us as they should. We will discuss new ways of explaining redemption and how this affects our relationship with Christ and our spiritual life in general.
