Tables for Couples - St. Valentines Day
Tuesday, February 14, 6:00 to 9:00pm
What a better way to spend an evening filled with love! A five-course
meal enhanced by a beautifully decorated room with a peaceful atmosphere
created with music and the whispers of couples communicating with
one another. We are inviting ten couples because the room dictates
the number. Do not be disappointed; please register early.
FACILITATORS: SR. ELAINE ARSENAULT SSS & RITA CARRIERE
Sr. Elaine Arsenault, native of PEI has been the director of John
Paul II Centre for the past four years. She came to Regina after
obtaining her Masters in Ministry and Spirituality from the University
of Toronto Regis College. Sr. Elaine has given conferences,
retreats and does spiritual direction which has been profoundly
healing for many. In her presence you readily detect her enthusiasm
and love of living.
Rita Carriere, is a retired teacher with Early Childhood Education
and certification in catechesis. She is also the Spiritual Program
Planner for the JPII Program Team and program chairperson for the
Board of Directors. Her life experience in offering marriage enrichment
workshops, in coordinating the volunteer hosting program and being
of service to many other organizations is an asset to the JPII Centre.
(Gift certificates can be obtained if you wish to give this evening
as a gift.)

Grief and Grieving
Wednesday, February 15 (afternoon 2:00-4:00 pm & evening 7:00-9:00
pm)
Losses are of many kinds, such as the loss of a loved one due to
death, divorce, a child leaving home, a job or physical disability.
Participants will discover how to help others who are grieving by
reflecting on a loss in their own lives.
FACILITATOR: DOLORES FEHR, RN, B.SC.N. is a retired nurse and nurse
educator with over 30 years experience in mental health, general
duty and nursing education areas. Formerly she was a faculty member
at SIAST as nursing education coordinator. Part of Dolores
interesting experience, includes two years missionary service at
an outpost hospital in Kenya. She has facilitated Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator workshops after attending a MBTI Trainers Course. Dolores
has been active in the Catholic Organization for Life and Family
National Board (COLF). The mission of this organization is to build
a civilization of love promoting respect for human life and human
dignity in the essential role of the family.

Draw Closer to Your Inner Spirit through Art
Saturday, February 25, [8:30-4:30 pm]
Draw closer to your inner Spirit by experiencing the nature of clay;
clay has qualities of its own, such as sound, memory, and knowledge.
Come and get your hands in the mud and experience this connection
with your inner Spirit.
Joan will help you connect your inner spirit to your creative instincts
through drawing with paper, pastels, and other materials.
FACILITATORS: Cara Driscoll/Joan Scaglione
Joan Scaglione is an artist and teacher working in Regina. She receives
artistic inspiration from natural objects. Cara Driscoll is a ceramic
artist who receives artistic inspiration from a host of women such
as literary figures.
