Presentation by Lou Foraie
The colored slides will give the physical setting of Israel and the surrounding
area, the Jewish people and the life of Jesus from His birth to His resurrection.
Other places visited were Tel Aviv, New Jerusalem, Nazareth, the Dead
Sea, Rift Valley, Dead Sea Scrolls, Jericho, Galilee Region, the Old Jerusalem
prior to the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of our Lord and many
more interesting places of this region
Facilitator:
Lou taught for 42 years and worked for the Department of Education in
audio visual arts and co-author of the social studies text presently being
used in Saskatchewan. He was Lt. Governor Johnson’s shadow writer.
Lou is a very active member of the church and an honorary member of the
Knights of Columbus. He was also the founding president of Sask. Pro-Life
Association.
