We are called to live
under God’s grace (Rom. 6:14) but while grace cannot be earned it
is not opposed to our human efforts.
Since the spiritual life cannot be lived sloppily we must harness our
best energy to live as God’s children.
This day of Recollection will seek to help us re-focus our human powers
to claim God’s gifts to us and apply them to God’s great purpose.
Our day will embrace the preached word, personal reflection, a nutritious
lunch and the Eucharistic Liturgy.
